NYDIG is buying British funds startup Bottlepay for between $280 million and $300 million in inventory, the corporate confirmed Friday.

- U.Ok.-based Bottlepay is a worldwide funds agency powered by the Lightning Network. Users could make micropayments of “as little as a penny” and ship funds through messages on Twitter, Reddit and Discord.
- The firm accomplished an 11 million euro ($15.4 million) funding spherical in February from buyers, together with Alan Howard, a British billionaire hedge fund supervisor, who can also be the corporate’s largest shareholder.
- The Bottlepay spherical additionally included “present and former” Goldman Sachs companions and digital property agency NYDIG.
